Who Am I?
I am a storyteller
With 6 years in performance art, scriptwriting, and directing, I see storytelling as both artistic expression and a framework for understanding the world. I transform information into visual narratives where shapes and colors make concepts felt, not just understood. I embed stories in my research, create videos on emerging tech, and craft compelling product launch narratives that resonate at a human level.
I am a human researcher
The why's don't reveal themselves until you dig for them. I uncover the unspoken needs of users by listening intently to their stories. From designing and analyzing surveys reaching 100,000+ people globally, to approaching strangers on NYC streets and asking provocative questions, I've done it all. Others often say my superpower is connecting meaningfully with people within minutes of meeting them. My ability to spot commonalities across differences makes uncovering fundamental human insights a second nature.
I am a design thinker
I studied quantitative economics to learn how incentive structures shape behavior, allowing me to design solutions that work with—not against—natural decision patterns. I studied public policy to learn how to design for real-world implementation, anticipating friction and building in feedback mechanisms. I approach challenges by blending macro-level systems thinking with micro-level empathy, creating solutions that are both analytically sound and deeply human.

I am an effectiveness, not productivity, maximalist
I prioritize P/PC balance (Production / Production Capacity) in everything I do. My daily meditation practice helps me focus my energy on meaningful impact rather than mere output—doing the right things, not just doing things right.
I am a techno-optimist
"Only by embracing a radically different future with singular commitment and sacrifice, often in defiance of the many can we release ourselves from stagnation, stasis, and decline." - Boom: Bubbles and the End of Stagnation
I embrace technological advancement with enthusiasm while regularly assessing whether our tools serve deeper human purposes or subtly redirect them. I guide my product marketing approach with three principles:
- Be a value-centered storyteller connecting technology with human needs
- Remain opinionated yet authentic in narratives
- Practice ethical positioning that considers not just what technology can do, but what it should do

I am a community builder across cultures
I grew up in a small town in China and moved to the US alone when I was 16. After learning English for the first time and constructing my own support system, I build communities to help others navigate alienation and unleash their unique potential. I've created mental health support networks for international and first-gen college students, and produced podcasts sharing diverse cultural perspectives—all to bridge divides and create belonging and creativity.
